It has been my pleasure and honor to represent the people of the 37th District. As a result of the mandated redistricting process, our district’s boundaries will change significantly on Election Day. What won’t change is my commitment to serve its citizens, including those that will be new to the district.

Since being elected to office three years ago, I have worked diligently to fulfill my commitments to the people I serve. As one of a select group of legislators on the Joint Finance Committee, I have played a key role in crafting balanced state budgets while also supporting tax cuts benefiting Delaware’s families and small business.

I have made myself available and accessible to our residents at regularly-scheduled coffee meetings and by consistently attending community events and gatherings.

I believe that to serve the needs of our community, a legislator can’t be a “one-trick pony.” That is why I have spent countless hours working to gain a detailed understanding of many different areas of public policy. That knowledge led me to co-sponsor new laws to improve governmental transparency (HB 5), protect homeowners (HB 59), improve access to life-saving medication for cancer victims (HB 265), aid our state’s military service personnel (HB 370), and establish Delaware’s version of “Caylee’s Law” (HB 256).
